Hello everybody and welcome to my website, HooverBroadcasting.com. I’m Roger Hoover, a play-by-play broadcaster for SEC Network and ACC Network coverage of basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, gymnastics, and volleyball. I am also the radio play-by-play broadcaster for University of Alabama women’s basketball and Alabama football/men’s basketball pre- and postgame shows host on the Crimson Tide Sports Network, from Learfield.

I previously served as the Director of Broadcasting for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Double-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins for eight seasons. The last five springs I’ve also provided play-by-play for Miami Marlins spring training baseball with online webcasts produced by the Marlins Radio Network.
